alamaris: Reblogging this because it’s starting to get to that time of year, and those cheerful people with their jingly bells are awful tempting. The Salvation Army is certainly a charity by definition, and not the worst organization in the world, but there are far better charities to send your money to.  I recommend Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, the Red Cross, and Heifer International.
